Our Mission
The East School PTO is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of all East Explorers, fostering a strong and connected school community, and supporting our exceptional teachers and staff. We provide engaging student programming that inspires curiosity and creativity, host inclusive community events that bring families together, and offer resources and appreciation initiatives that empower educators to do their best work. Through collaboration, volunteerism, and generosity, we work to create a vibrant, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
PTO Initiatives
The PTO plans and funds engaging programs that enhance learning beyond the classroom. From curriculum-based field-trips to active-learning activities, our student programming sparks curiosity, builds community, and makes school more exciting for every student.
Student Programming
Beloved events like the Back to School Bash, Sweetheart Dance, Dodgeball Tournament, and Field Day help students and caregivers create a stronger sense of community, forming bonds that will last far beyond your years at East!

Staff Support
The PTO hosts several events throughout the year such as luncheons, the annual Thanksgiving Pick-a-Pie event, and cookie swaps to show our gratitude to our amazing educators at East School. The PTO also fulfills multiple teacher grants each year with funds raised through the Annual Appeal.
