East School's 15th Annual Snowflake Sale

Who: East School Students K-5 (no siblings please!)
What: Snowflake Sale Holiday Shopping Event
When: Saturday, December 7th from 9am-11am
Where: East School Gym

How Do I Participate?

  • This is an optional, fun event at which East School students can shop on their own for holiday gifts for special people on their shopping lists.
  • To participate, each shopper is asked to donate 12 NEW, unwrapped items ranging in price from $1-$3 per item.
  • Participating shoppers will be able to purchase up to 8 items at the sale for $1 each.

Snowflake Sale Details
  • Students shop on their own. 5th grade helpers will be available inside the gym to help the littlest shoppers or anyone who needs assistance.
  • In addition to shopping money (maximum of $8), each child should bring a list of who they are shopping for and their approximate ages to help in the process. The snowflake sale is a cash only event.
  • Shoppers bring their own reusable bag to bring items home – no peeking!!
  • Conclude your shopping with the 5th Grade Bake Sale! Enjoy baked goodies, hot chocolate (and coffee) in the cafeteria. A great way to help raise funds for the 5th grade culmination in 2025!

Donation Guidelines

  • Each shopping participant is asked to donate 12 new, unwrapped items ranging in price from $1-$3 per item.
  • Please purchase items according to the shopping participants’ grade listed below.

Kindergarten: Tween/Teen Girl gifts
Grade 1: Little Girl gifts
Grade 2: Tween/Teen Boy gifts
Grade 3: Adult Male gifts
Grade 4: Little Boy gifts
Grade 5: Adult Female gifts

  • Gifts, gadgets and games that are gender-neutral are also welcomed and encouraged for all ages.
  • Gift donations should be brought to East School between Nov. 18th - Dec. 6th and placed in donation boxes outside the gym on the 1st floor and the gym viewing area on the 2nd floor.
  • Donations should be marked clearly with who the items are for (adult male, tween/teen boy, little girl, etc). This will assist greatly with sorting and organizing.
  • Please provide items you know a child would like to purchase for someone special.
  • Do not wrap items unless it is clear wrap.
  • Do not donate anything edible, scratch tickets, matches, lighters, knives, dangerous items, etc.
  • Suggestions for shopping: Online bulk options, Dollar Store, 5 Below, Target dollar section & Michaels
