Kindness Club
The PTO-led Kindness Club is excited to kick off this year’s Kindness Initiative with the theme “Building a Kinder World!”
Each month, our East Explorers will focus on different ways and places to show kindness. Our goal is to help students see that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference!
As in past years, students who complete the monthly challenge can fill out a slip for the Kindness Drop Box in the library to represent their kind act. Each act will be added to our growing kindness mural throughout the year — thank you, Ms. Mac, for lending your artistic talents!
Coinciding with our mural and monthly challenges, we’re also launching a yearlong project to collect new and gently used magnetic tiles. These will be donated to families transitioning out of homelessness into starter homes through the Brockton YMCA. Students will help lead this effort by setting up collection boxes in the Hingham community and encouraging donations. A school collection box will be located in the hallway near the staircase all year.
Let’s work together to build a kinder world! 🌎✨
