What’s Play Club?

A weekly, screen-free program that lets kids lead their own games - building social skills, creativity, focus, and real-world problem-solving. It’s all about good old-fashioned, unstructured play where kids develop executive function skills by navigating and sustaining their own fun. Learn more at LetGrow.org

Who Can Join?

Any East School student. We welcome up to 25 kids in mixed-age groups (grades K–2 and 3–5). Gym Teacher Mr. Dodge and a support staff member will supervise.

When?

Five-week session: Nov 12– Dec. 18 Offered Wed & Thu, 8:00–8:40 AM. Sign up to attend 1 or 2 mornings per week.

Where?

East School gym & playground (weather permitting). Drop-off at the back gym stairs (left of cafeteria doors). No earlier than 7:55 AM— staff must be present to drop your child/check them in.

Why Play Club?

Because kids thrive in unstructured, self-directed play. These moments fuel their social-emotional growth, creativity, resiliency—and prime their brains for learning .

Cost

• 1 day/week (5 weeks): $35 (No class the week of Thanksgiving)

• 2 days/week adds $35 (e.g., 2 days/week = $70)
